We collect only what you choose to send us through the Deal Desk and the capital-provider form, we use it to respond to you, and we never sell it.
Who we are
Oogway Ventures ("Oogway", "we") is an investment banking and strategic advisory firm at 204/205, Hotel Ajanta, Juhu-Tara Road, Juhu, Mumbai 400049, India. This policy explains what personal data we collect through oogwayventures.com and how we use it. We handle personal data in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
Details you give us through the Deal Desk or the capital-provider form: your name, company or firm, role, mobile number, email address, the kind of transaction you are considering, its approximate size and timeline, any note you add, your readiness-check answers if you choose to include them, and how you found us.
Technical details sent with a form: the page you were on, the website that referred you, and campaign tags in the link you followed. We do not use advertising cookies. The site stores an unfinished form in your own browser so you can pick it up later; that draft stays on your device until you send it.
How we use it
To review your brief and contact you about it, to assess whether and how we can help, to send you opportunities that match a mandate you have shared with us, and to understand which of our pages and channels people find useful. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Why we are allowed to use it
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you tick the consent box or submit a form. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us. Withdrawing consent does not affect what we did before you withdrew it.
Who we share it with
Your details are seen by Oogway's partners and team. We use service providers to run the website and our email, who process data on our instructions. If you choose to send your brief by WhatsApp, WhatsApp's own terms apply to that message. We share information with investors, lenders or other counterparties only with your approval, and with authorities only where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain a record of our dealings, and for any longer period the law requires. If we do not work together, you can ask us to delete your details.
Your rights
You can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or update it, ask us to erase it, withdraw your consent, and nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. Write to prakalp@oogwayventures.com and we will respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
We limit access to enquiry data to the people who need it and store it in systems protected by access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send confidential financial documents through the website forms. We will arrange a secure way to share them.
